The Monetary and Financial Stability Committee (MFSC) was established in 2007, which has been tasked to enhance the macro-monitoring and crisis management mechanisms of EMEAP.
The members of the MFSC are the same as the Deputies’ Meeting, and the MFSC Meeting and Deputies’ Meeting are usually held back-to-back.

EMEAP, the Executives' Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks, is a cooperative organization of central banks and monetary authorities in the East Asia and Pacific region. Its primary objective is to strengthen the cooperative relationship among its members.
